Lebron Magnet: Where Would He Park at the Super Bowl? Park Whiz

Indeed, you read that correctly, I want to tell you a bit about how Lebron James, basketball extraordinaire, could have something in common with the game of football.  First of all, we all know that many celebrity athletes usually have great seats at sporting events.

I have a question for you?  If you were going to the Super Bowl at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington, Texas, where would you park?  Wouldn’t you like to take care of that before you ever leave home?

That said, yesterday I learned about a great site called Park Whiz which appears to me to offer the best parking and certainly the most convenient method of parking available.

Yesterday I was lucky recipient of information about parking and after looking over the options, I feel like I can tell you with good conscious about Park Whiz.

Now, we get back to where our NBA superstar Lebron James might park.  Chances are that celebrities like Lebron may or may not have shelled out big bucks for their ticket, depending on who they know.  However, I can’t imagine any of them paying a extremely large amount of money for a ticket into the game and then skimping on the parking options.

Park Whiz can take care of that for you (and Lebron). Here’s a bit of information about Park Whiz specifically.

  • It’s almost impossible to think you can go without paying to park, so why not pay ahead of time using Park Whiz, and then all that’s left to do is find your spot.
  • Many of the spots opened for parking belong to businesses, charities and generate income for these people to apply toward their own personal needs.
  • You can get the Park Whiz mobile app which is new and find parking via your Smartphone.
  • I highly doubt that our good friend Lebron (or any other celebrity or celebrity athlete will choose a $16 to $50 spot and then walk miles to get to Cowboy Stadium. Some spots even rents for approximately $900.
  • Ticket prices to the game run as high as $2500 or even $4K
  • Super Bowl XLV will have over 7,000 premium spots available near Cowboy Stadium which you can pre-reserve on the Park Whiz site for anywhere from $50 to $900 and ranging from 500 feet to a mile and a half away.
  • Park Whiz boasts the only company that works directly with the city of Arlington, the ability to purchase and have a guaranteed spot with full refunds if your plans change.

Now, let’s see if we can find Lebron a parking spot, can we?

I’m looking over Park Whiz right now and if you are headed to Super Bowl XLV, you can park at Stadium Parking LLC – Lot 7 at 100 E. Division Street, Arlington, Texas 76011 for $110.  You can reserve it online and they have a shuttle bus to take fans to and from the stadiums.

Here are a few options, with photos and if you click on the photo, you can go see various landmarks for the addresses.

If you choose this lot, here’s a photo of the general area and what landmarks you can look for.100 E. Division Street, Arlington, Texas 76011

Click the photo for a larger photo with landmarks marked.

It looks safe and great landmarks to help you find it,

This is probably more his style at Ticket Source Parking.  That site is at 908 N. Collins, Arlington TX 76011.  This lot sales spots for $990 and you can enter at 11:30 AM and leave at 11:30 PM.  But, if you want this, you should hurry, they show one spot left on Park Whiz.

Notice that this lot isn’t huge and with the cost of the spots, your car should also be much safer in a lot with fewer cars.  And, here’s a photo.

If you decide to go bigger but not quite that big, the Ballpark Valero Event Parking for Super Bowl XLV has 4 spots left at $550.  That is almost a steal. This lot is at 936 N. Collins Street, Arlington, TX 76011 Here is a photo to guide you to recognizing your pre-paid parking spot.

This looks like a safe lot as well.  I’m looking at these choices and honestly, I’m thinking Lebron will make a good choice, after all, with Park Whiz, you can find a spot, pay for it and be done.  You can then head into the stadium without worrying.

So, go ahead, get your parking spot reserved and while you are getting to the game, see if you can find out if Lebron is going to be there and if so, where did he park, I’ll be waiting.

Lebron Magnet: Let the Good Times Roll…Triple Double to Go Please

A Triple-Double should open a few folks eyes…and then again, it probably will still have some naysayers around…looking silly with a big Lebron-Magnet smear across their face…whatever…..

Miami beat the Lakers to death. I know that 96-80 is not a complete beat down…but this is the NBA and well….yea 27 points, 10 assists and 11 rebounds for the 31st triple double of James career.

And hey, those guys hanging on to the magnetic pole..Bosh had 24 points and 13 rebounds and hey, Wade just helped by tossing in 18 points…and he has a bum knee folks.

I like the Lakers, don’t get me wrong….I love to watch Kobe Bryant play and he did all he could do… but the fact of the matter is……

Jordan, the all time King of Basketball, passed the torch for a few guys to share amongst themselves for a spell….now, Lebron has surely taken the bull (no pun intended) by the horns and grabbed him a Scottie Pippin-like sidekick…or two (does anyone remember Dennis Rodman and Jordan together)….now…it’s All Lebron, All Day, Every Day!

LeBron Magnet: Minnesota needs a Magnet of some kind it seems

Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings have fired Brad Childress as their coach. The team named defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier its interim coach for the remainder of the season.

Brad Childress is gone, one season after he famously picked up Brett Favre at the airport, got a contract extension and came within a field goal of reaching the Super Bowl.

And this

Brad Childress is gone, one season after he famously picked up Brett Favre at the airport, got a contract extension and came within a field goal of reaching the Super Bowl. The Vikings fired Childress on Monday, ending an eventful and often tumultuous run with the team marred recently by player unrest, livid fans and a boss angry over everything from his abrupt personnel decisions to a 31-3 loss at home to rival Green Bay on Sunday that dropped Minnesota’s record to 3-7.

Owner Zygi Wilf read from a script and would not get into specifics after he and team president Mark Wilf, his brother, met with Childress early Monday.

"It’s often difficult to articulate one reason why change is needed," Wilf said.

Wonder if they are in need a LeBron Magnet in Minnesota about right now?

LeBron Magnet: We do new NFL uniforms 2010 too!

Lebron Magnet: Give Him a Minute

The one common thread in the last several months in the world of sports has been the fact that there are good athletes, great athletes who are good people, great people and they just continuously get a bad look.

Lebron James just kind of kicked it all off when he left Cleveland via his show The Decision. Of course, if you didn’t want him to leave, you have a right to feel that way and if you didn’t want to see the show, you didn’t have to watch. But the man…the man raised money for needy children, I think that earns him a break.

Now, as he is struggling alongside his teammates in Miami, people are pointing fingers and acting crazy. Let’s talk about another athlete that’s exterior seems a bit….I don’t know…..ghetto, can I use that word?

Randy Moss comes off as a mean ol’ thug who cares about no one. The bottom line is, his career has hardened him when it comes to the media. He, however, has remained a good person and he too is constantly working and doing things to benefit others.

Talk about a big attitude, Chad Ochocinco changed his name so it fit the number on his jersey. But, then, he buys fans of the opposing teams dinner.  Yea, they come off with a little bit of attitude, Lebron, Randy, Chad…..

…but you know what….there’s a lot of things that can be overlooked when someone helps others.

So, while the NFL is proclaiming to clean up their image, the NBA can join in and start to crack down on the professional athletes that are ruining their sport. The problem is this, those folks doing the mopping up need to make sure they target the folks in the wrong, not just the ones that are cocky.

So now, watch and see, the Heat may not be a pretty sight to see right now, but just as with Randy Moss, who has had his own troubles by all rights, when the player’s heart is in the right place, good things will happen.

Lebron Magnet: Cam Newton Tales

The Tales from the Grid Iron much different than those coming from the hardwood. Alas now worries, LeBron and crew will put on the necessary show when the time deems it necessary. In the meantime, the world of sports fans sits back in wonderment over the news of Cam Newton.

cam newton

His father says he is innocent and so is his son. He also indicated that if there was money talked about in order to get Cam to go to Mississippi instead of Auburn, it was done without his knowledge.  Now, just as this big time play maker was making waves on the field, people are coming out of the wood work to point fingers at Cam Newton.

The Auburn officials say Cam will play on Saturday. Then, two days later they turned on the silencers. Now, you can ask Auburn officials, Mississippi officials, NCAA officials, the kid, his parents and most of the other coaches and players in collegiate football and you get the same answer, “No comment!”.  I guess we sit and watch tomorrow to see if Cam Newton will actually go out on the gridiron in uniform to lead the Tigers  …or not
